Biblical Jordan ,whatever one's beliefs, visiting sites of biblical significance can still be a moving experience – for many people this is ‘hallowed, holy ground’. From Abraham and Moses to John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, the founding fathers of the three great monotheistic traditions are intimately tied to the Jordanian landscape. Little wonder then that Jordan has been a destination of religious pilgrimage for centuries.
